We contacted the poster of the picture, Jeremy Ray of Rugeley in Staffordshire, who told us: “Yes, I own the copyright and you are welcome to use it. Charlie Gosling was my grandfather. He was a farmer in North East Essex. The photo was taken in 1956, he was a big Standard and Triumph fan.
I remember his Standard eight. His last car was a herald. His favourite though was the car pictured.
